Wordless Wednesday.....It's too quiet in here

One day I realized that it was just a litle too quiet in the house so I went searching for Monkey....

And this is what I found!

She apparently felt the need to hide from me while eating the crackers she stole from the snack shack (aka pantry).  Notice that she is still in her PJs.  It was right after she got done eating breakfast.  I swear she tries to make people think that I starve her half to death!

  1. Well, maybe she was still hungry or maybe she just like the crackling noise either way she ventured out on her own & this is the way they learn. Never stifle a child's imagination. Besides she is so adorable how can you holler at her. Thanks for stopping by. I'm now following you.

  2. Hehee I love it... Hiding in the box and munching on crackers. You know something is going on when it's too quite in the house. Not that I perfer the noise but atleast I know where they are...

  7. My youngest is a closet eater too. She won't finish her breakfast but then I'll find her climbing in the pantry for food. They're quite the scavengers, I tell ya!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy WW! :-)

  8. Oh she is so cute!!! Mine do things like that too. It is funny the things they run off with sometimes - and sometimes it is scary. I just love this stage. :) The toddler stage not so much the run and hide with random things part.

  9. Pretty funny. I'll never forget more than 50 years ago when my mom found my little brother hiding under the table and lace table cloth covered with jam. I wonder why they feel the need to hide. I guess I just let my kids eat whatever whenever wherever for the most part, so they've never hid out. I did find 14 Popsicle sticks in the side of a chair once though!
